Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Local CDL A Driver to join our team. This role offers consistent routes, competitive pay, and guaranteed home-daily schedules. The ideal candidate is professional, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle for local pickup and delivery routes
- Transport freight between customer locations, warehouses, and distribution centers
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or issues
- Ensure freight is handled with care and delivered on time
- Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and customer requirements
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A driver's license
- Minimum 1 year of CDL A driving experience
- Clean MVR and safe driving record
- Ability to pass DOT drug screening and background check
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift, pull, or move freight as needed
